Shanta Kumari, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner
Shanta has had more than eighteen years of experience working in the financial services industry, beginning her career in the corporate finance division of Drexel Burnham Lambert, followed later at Kidder Peabody among other investment banking firms. She served in various capacities for two financial publications Global Investment Technology and Global Investment Magazine — as head of global marketing, associate publisher and member of editorial committee. Shanta later joined QED International — a consulting firm specializing in exchange traded funds and alternative asset management as a managing director and principal.
Shanta was the founder and managing partner of Jupiter Marketing Communications, a strategic marketing and communications company serving global financial institutions. Jupiter's clients have included Dow Jones Company, Barclays Global Investors, Euro-Stoxx, Lehman Brothers, Citigroup Asset Management, FIRESolutions.com, academy award winning film — Born into Brothels, among others.
Raj Kashyap, President and Managing Partner
Raj has broad set of experiences within the financial services industry, beginning his career in 1991 at Oppenheimer & Company, a leading securities and brokerage firm, and as vice president at Shamus Capital. As an outgrowth of working for investment banking firms, Raj often consults on capital raising strategies.
Raj served as head of global sales and client relations development at Information Management Network for over eight years. At IMN, he built the global institutional investment events businesses — spanning from the America's to China, Europe, to Australia, Middle-East to Japan. Being an avid motorsport fan, he is founder and CEO of Kash Motorsports — a provider of consulting services, fund raising, and representing drivers, teams and/or sanctioning bodies in NASCAR, Indy Racing League, American Le Mans Series and Grand AM Series.
